Cacio's cheese Palio

The four contrade of Celle sul Rigo, Il Cantone, La Cisterna, Pianetto and Case Nuove, challenge one each other in a single competition during the afternoon: Palio del Cacio.

The winner of the Palio is the fastest to roll a mature pecorino cheese through the streets of the village. The evening concludes with a dinner consisting of typical products and local dishes.
