I Poggi

Starting from the main Car Park of San Casciano, follow by foot the dirt road leading to Fighine and, after a short but demanding climb of about 1.5 kilometres you will reach a fork.

Here you can choose either to continue to the left and walk along a level section which then descends in the direction of the castle of Fighine (about 5 kilometres) or, turning right, have an easier walk.

When you reach the brow of the hill you will have a view which, on clear days, extends from the Appenines on one side with Mount Amiata to the Val d’Orcia and the Val di Paglia on the other, both unforgettable experiences.

You can also reach the above mentioned points by car.
