Here, guests can feel the warm breezes arising from the valleys di Paglia and di Chiana and gaze upon the historic Appeninni mountains in total privacy.

The grounds surrounding Podernuovo were prepared with an eye toward keeping the ecology and natural beauty of the area in mind. Natural materials have been used wherever possible in the patio and pool area where guests can take a refreshing swim in the gently rolling terrain. The farmhouse is energy effecient, with power provided by a windmill and solar panels.

The restoration of the farmhouse was lovingly done with the preservation of the natural surrounding beauty and Tuscan architecture in mind. Up to 12 guests can be accomodated here (with an additional two if the sofa bed is utilized) in the large two-level home. Comfort and convenience abound in rooms that reflect the unique Tuscan style. Exposed wooden beams hewn from chestnut and locust trees span rooms where Italian marble accents and tile floors blend with antique Italian furniture and pine windows open to the beautiful Tuscan countryside.
